These terms are between you and Retext ("we"). By using Retext you agree to them.
Retext is a tool for editing text in images. You are responsible for the images you edit, for having the right to edit them, and for how you use the results and the laws that apply to you.
You keep all rights to your images and edits. We never receive them, because they are processed in your browser.
Retext includes a limited number of free downloads. A one-time payment at the USD price displayed at checkout unlocks unlimited PNG, JPG and WebP downloads. The standard price is $9 USD; test or promotional pricing may differ. Keep your unlock code to restore access after clearing browser data or changing devices. Editing and previews remain free. Payments are processed by Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or NOWPayments (cryptocurrency); we never see your card details.
All sales are final. We do not give refunds, including for change of mind. If you were charged by mistake, charged twice, or paid and your license did not unlock, email us (address below) and we will fix it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law where you live.
You may not use Retext to forge or falsify documents, identification, receipts, financial records or other materials, to impersonate any person or organization, or to deceive, defraud or harm others. You may not use it to edit images you have no right to edit, or in violation of any law. We may suspend or end a license for breach of this section, without refund.
Retext is provided "as is". Detection and font matching may be imperfect, so check your results. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for losses from using Retext.
